in chapter 3 it talks about how reinforcements came in and were all mad due to how bad the food were and how little food was and i think this shows that during that time veterans were all poor and didn't get paid because the government was poor because of all this war so soldiers had to settle for what ever they got which explains on why propaganda started and why government started asking civilians for money to pay for war

I like how you incorporated propaganda into youre post. The goverment asked the civilans for money to help pay for the war effort. If the civilians bought war bonds, then after the war the goverment would pay them back. And yes it was true that they recieved very little for food.
